Leadership Equipping

Our vision is to see men awaken and engaged in discipleship

At INTO THE DEEP, we believe leadership isn’t just for a select few — it’s for men who are willing to follow Jesus and help others do the same. Leadership in the Kingdom of God is rooted in intentional spiritual transformation, Christ-centered relationships, and the courage to go deeper in your faith. What Jesus modeled for His disciples is the same pattern we follow today: show up, join in, be transformed, and encourage others to do the same.

Leadership at INTO THE DEEP isn’t about position or title — it’s about character, influence, and multiplying disciples. We walk with men as they are transformed:

  • Spiritual depth — rooted in a meaningful relationship with Jesus and obedience to His call.

  • Relational wisdom — learning how to lead others with authenticity and care.

  • Practical disciple-making skills — teaching, mentoring, facilitating conversation, and establishing new communities.
This equipping happens in real community, over time, and with intentional support.

We Equip Men in 5 Expressions of Leadership

We don’t just encourage leadership — we train and support it. Our equipping pathway includes:

  • The 5 Expressions of Leadership in Discipleship

  • Quarterly training gatherings focused on discipleship foundations, spiritual life, and relational leadership skills.

  • Practical coaching and mentorship so leaders aren’t alone in their journey.

  • Integration into a broader discipleship culture so leaders connect with others in the mission.

This equipping is supported by our Leader Guide and our year-long Discipleship Pathway.

Uncommon Groups

At Into The Deep, our mission is to call men out of isolation and into Christ-centered community. One of the most powerful ways we live out that mission is through Uncommon Groups.

An Uncommon Group is a year-long discipleship journey for 3–5 men who are ready to pursue deeper faith, authentic brotherhood, and intentional spiritual growth. These groups are built on trust, accountability, and the kind of honest community that challenges men to grow into who God created them to be.

This isn’t surface-level connection. It’s a commitment to step into deeper waters — to be known, encouraged, sharpened, and transformed alongside other men pursuing Christ together.

What these men are choosing is rare in today’s world. It’s intentional. It’s courageous. It’s uncommon.
